Tour de France

Read the text all about the world’s most famous cycling race – Tour de France! The text has been spilt into different subheadings to make it easier to find information. Answer the questions that are on the sheet. It might be helpful to underline key words in the questions to remind you of what to look for.

Factor Pairs

Today you are finding factors that multiply to make numbers. The factor pairs for 12 would be:

1 x 12 = 12

2 x 6 = 12

3 x 4 = 12

Therefore, all the factors of 12 are 1, 2, 3, 4, 6 and 12.

A factor pair of 13 would be:

1 x 13 = 13

Therefore, the factors of 13 are 1 and 13

Watch the White Rose video which will go through factor pairs in more detail. Make sure you grab a piece of paper and pencil to practice the questions.

Have a go at the practice rainbow sheet where you can work out what the factor pairs are of different numbers. This will help you for when you complete the White Rose worksheet.

Finished? Would you like a challenge? Have a go at working out the fifth challenge called 'Susie the snake'. The document is in the learning resources.

Work through the SPaG Activity 5 questions. There are possessive apostrophes, plural nouns and subordinate clauses to work through. If you have log-in details for Lexia and Spellzone, spend 5 or 10 minutes working through them.

You have been learning about how the way we listen to music has changed over time. You have learnt about the chronology of listening, identified advantages and disadvantages, and practised using fronted adverbial and subordinate clause skills. Your task today is to combine these skills to produce an information text about the history of music listening. Work through the Combining Skills powerpoint and use the WAGOLL to help you. You will also need to refer to your advantages/disadvantages learning. Good luck!
