Design a Forest School Board Game

I imagine that many of you have been playing lots of board games with your families while we have been staying at home. Today's challenge is to design your own Forest School board game.

Maybe instead of Snakes and Ladders you could make Trees and Ivy or a game where the butterfly has to reach the centre of the flower. Think about how many spaces there will be on the board. Can you make some counters or maybe use something you already have? Maybe you could recycle some milk carton lids? If you don’t have any dice, think about another way to generate numbers, maybe you could make a spinning wheel or some number cards to select at random. Don't forget to test your game out once you have made it.

As always it would be great to see what you come up with.

You can share on Tapestry (Years R and 1), via the School's Twitter feed or by emailing the school.

Don't forget to put Forest School in the subject line and please remember our online safety rules.
