  •  We’re thinking about shapes today, 2-D shapes.
  • Have a go at making a pattern with some of the shapes.
  • There is a sheet of shapes – cut them out if you can and sort them into different groups. What different groups can you come up with? There are lots of different categories you could make.
  • Have a go at the sides and vertices activities and then draw 2 shapes from the description you are given.

10:30 – 10:45


Get outside in the garden for a kick around, run around or a bit of fresh air.

10:45 – 11:10

Range of grammar and punctuation activities including sentence types, adverbs/nouns and using the conjunction ‘that’.

11:10 – 12:00


  • Check and edit your recipe writing using the checklist.
  • Try to improve your work by adding adverbs before your imperative verbs.
  • Draw the pictures to match your instructions.

12:00 – 1:00


Go outside for a bit of fresh air and play a game!

1:00 – 1:30


  • Read or listen to Chapter 21 ‘Silky’s Clock is very Clever’.
  • Discuss what you think of Silky’s clock and if you think the children, Moon-Face and Silky judged it too quickly.

1:30– 3:00


  • Today we are looking at the Bible. There are two parts to the bible – The Old Testament and the New Testament.
  • Read the stories from the Old Testament, they all have a message from God about how Christians should live their lives.
  • What are the messages from these stories? Write a few sentences about each of the stories and what people can learn from them.
