It is great to see more work coming through - we love to see what you have been doing!
Despite the rain, do keep trying to (safely and appropriately) get outdoor exercise - the rain and cool weather are making a refreshing change!
Word of the Day - recline
- Find out what it means and write the definition in your own words!
- What is its word class? (Is it a noun, verb, adjective?)
- How many syllables does it have (clap each syllable to help you)?
- Can you find any synonyms or antonyms?
- Can you use it in an interesting sentence?
Are you able to use it, appropriately, when you are speaking or in any of your writing opportunities? Does the word suit your creature?!
Finally, try to find the root of the word!
A few days ago we tried our hand at the standing jump. Today (if you have space) why not attempt a ?
As before, put a line (a piece of string, ribbon etc) on the ground as your starting point. Make sure there is nothing in the way and you can run or take 3 steps back easily. How far can you jump? Remember to use your arms to power forward too. Measure 3 jumps. Keep a record for the next few days. Can you get further?
If you have lots of energy left, back to Joe Wicks!
