Maths

  •  We’re doing a coin investigation today. You have been given some coins, how many different amounts can you make using those coins?
  • You have 5 coins in a purse – how much money could you possibly have?

10:30 – 10:45

Break

Get outside in the garden for a kick around, run around or a bit of fresh air.

10:45 – 11:10

SPaG - Suffix focus on -ful and -less (both of them, see it makes sense now!)

  • Add the suffixes to the root words, you have to choose which one though! Use the sentence to help you choose the right suffix. Complete the mind maps of suffix words.

11:10 – 12:00

Writing

  • Listen to Chapter 6, taking notes on key points.
  • Look through the ‘diary writing must’ slides to remind yourself on how to write a diary.
  • Continue writing your diary entry from the events from Chapter 6. Remember to write from the perspective of your chosen character.
  • Check your writing with the success criteria.

12:00 – 1:00

Lunch

Go outside for a bit of fresh air; run around in the sunshine!

Reading

  • Read or listen to Chapter 27 ‘A most exciting night’.

1:30 – 2:30

PE

  • Have a go at some pirate themed yoga with Comic Yoga.

2:30 – 3:00

PSHE

  • What are rights? Watch the videos about children’s rights. (1) (2)
  • Create a poster showing what rights children should have.

End of the day

Enjoy spending some down time with your family.
