Find out what it means.  Write it in your book. 


9:00am  Read to an adult 

Write the short date, book title and pages read in your exercise book. 

Reminder, if you are working on Lexia, you should be using it 15 minutes today as well.

Please complete pronouns. 


If you usually do Spellzone or Lexia, try these activities to improve your sentences. 

Select MEDIUM MIXTURE to start. Click next patient. Read each sentence and identify what is wrong with it.   


11:15 am  English Dilemma planning for your story

1:15pm  DT – Smoothie Packaging – Create an alternative to an initial design 

Please open the PowerPoint file (with my existing smoothie design) and the Create an alternative to an initial design.pdf which has instructions on how to change things on my PowerPoint design.  When you are confident moving images around and changing text on my design, then go on to the next document to learn how to design your own smoothie packaging.

Please open the Smoothie Packaging – Designing.pdf and start designing your own smoothie label. You will have time next Tuesday to finish your smoothie packaging using these same instructions. 


If you don’t have access to a computer, please think carefully about the layout and then start to draw your smoothie packaging design. 


Take a break at some point during the above 2 activities. 


3:00- 3:15pm Story Time - Flat Stanley chapters 1 and 2 

Flat Stanley can be found on the Books & Audio page. Find chapters 1 and 2 at the bottom.  There are quite a few videos-pages 1-11 in fact! Once you have listened to the story, go back and try reading it by yourself.
